Lip Pigmentation
This service is a soft natural enhancement to your lip colour. This biggest misconception is that you will have bright pink lips but that could not be further from the truth (unless you want it that way)
The truth is, we use only the best lip pigments in the industry to give your lips a soft and subtle pink tone. Even if you do not wear lipstick on a regular basis, you will love this enhancement. If you do like to glam up every once in a while, fear not, you can still wear all your favourite shades over top.
Cost is $450 and includes a 6 week touch up if needed.
Microblading
Microblading is the hottest trend in advance beauty services. This process is done by using a manual hand tool to implant pigment into the upper layer of epidermis. When done with precision and accuracy the results will provide a natural hair stroke appearance.
There are two sessions required to ensure the colour and shape is perfected. At each appointment we will work together to ensure you are achieving your desired results.
The time needed for the appointment is approximately 2 hours.
This includes the time needed to numb your skin, select colour, and map out the shape based on your bone structure and shape of your face.
Touch-up sessions will be necessary if you want to continue to have the service for a long period of time. Each individual has different skin types, sun exposure, and maintenance routines. This means that each client will need touch ups at different times. Most clients will return in 18 – 24 months.
The cost for Microblading is $320 for the initial session.
Any and all touch up sessions have a cost of $120.
If you have had microblading or permanent makeup done with another artist, you will need to contact us for a quote on correction / coverup.
ALL ABOUT MICROBLADING
Microblading, also first known as eyebrow embroidery, is a semi-permanent makeup procedure that allows you to correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrows. Eyebrow Microblading is performed by manually depositing pigment in the basal layer of the epidermis by a special pen. It does not involve the use of a machine. Unlike permanent makeup brow treatments, Microblading techniques involves drawing individual, crisp hair strokes that are more natural looking than tattooing, brow pencils or powders. The blade of microblading pen contains numerous pins that are 3 times thinner than the needles used for tattooing.
HOW LONG IS THE PROCEDURE AND HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
The process takes about 2-3 hours (most of it is prep time). Procedure generally lasts 2-3 years, depending on proper aftercare. Clients with oily skin may experience fading sooner. Procedure is recommended to be touched up once every 18 months to keep the eyebrows looking fresh.
WHY DO I NEED A TOUCH-UP?
Since the pigment is absorbed differently and healing time is different in each individual person, a touchup is required to bring your brows to its full potential. Think of the first session as a rough draft. This will also help determine how well you take the pigment, see areas of higher pigment loss and will allow changes to either the shape, color, or thickness.
In some cases, a third session will be required depending on desired look. (Additional costs required)
DOES IT HURT?
Topical anesthetic is used before and during procedure to reduce any discomfort.
It has often been compared to threading or scratches. Pain threshold will also depend on tolerance of each individual.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS LIKE?
Microblading is a two-step treatment (possibly more), consisting of an initial procedure and then a touch up 6-8 weeks after. After we take your before photo, we will then shape your eyebrows to your desired look, topical anesthetic is then applied, and then we begin the procedure. You may feel some discomfort or pain during the first pass but after additional anesthetic is applied the rest of the procedure should be pretty painless. Once you’re numb, the pigment is deposited. During healing, it’s normal to experience some pigment loss; this is why we have the touch up in place. The process is considered to be complete 4 weeks after the first touch up.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?
Healing time varies from individual to individual. Usually, it takes about a week to ten days for the epithelial crust to form and slough off. Your skin will be considered healed after that happens. The pigment takes some time to settle into the skin, a good month should pass before we consider the process complete. 90% of the results will vary per individual which is why proper aftercare is so important and will fully determine final results. With oilier skin, the pigment will heal a lot softer and more of a powder finish, dryer skin will heal with a crisper stroke appearance. (Please refer to aftercare instructions for further information after procedure).

Please stop taking any Omgea’s or Fish oils for 5 days before the session.

Classic Lash Extensions
Defined Eyes Studio is happy to offer this highly sought after service. We ensure the correct application is done each and every time to ensure that the client can enjoy this beautiful enhancement without the worry of damaging the natural lashes. Proper technique is the most important part of this service and we guarantee at Defined Eyes Studio. This application is done with a 1:1 ratio of extension to natural lash. The initial session is typically 1.5 – 2.5 hours depending on the amount of lashes each client has. Fills will be required in order to keep them full. Everyone sheds a full set of lashes every 4-6 weeks naturally so maintenance is important. Free naps are included with each appointment.

2 week fills are $45
3 week fills are $55
Lash Lift and Tint
This service is a way to enhance your natural lashes without having to worry about maintenance. This service is done by using a technique that will perm your natural lashes into a curled position which will last 4 – 6 weeks. It may last longer, but each person sheds a full set of lashes over a 4-6 week cycle so the results cannot be guaranteed past that point. Typically a tint is applied at the end of the perm giving a rich black look so mascara is not necessary, but still an option. There is no maintenance required and you may wear as much or as little makeup as you desire 24 hours after the service is complete.
Cost is $90
